Laduma is proud to announce they have been shortlisted for their work with Intermountain Healthcare.
Laduma was tasked with producing an immersive experience for Intermountain Healthcare at HiMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) 2019, in Orlando, Florida. HiMSS is a leading health information and technology conference that sees over 45,000 professionals from around the world to come together to share ideas. This project has led to Laduma being shortlisted for ‘Best Immersive Experience’ at Event Tech Awards.

Intermountain Healthcare asked Laduma to create an experience that was unique, interactive, and unlike any trade show booth seen before. Laduma decided that projection mapping would be an ambitious and exciting solution to achieve Intermountain Healthcare’s objectives, given the space was 2000 sq ft. The use of immersive projection created multiple environments that completely transformed Intermountain’s booth space.

The five environments included a nature scene with interactive animals, such as bears, deer, rabbits, and fish, as well as a demonstration of a life-flight helicopter rescue (one of Intermountain’s unique services) in the mountains of Utah. Not only did this create a relaxing and tranquil environment through the use of visuals, sound effects, and scents, but also transported visitors to a different world away from the otherwise busy conference hall.

Laduma President Dan Rutstein said: “We’re of course delighted to be shortlisted for Best Immersive Experience at the Event Tech Awards 2019. Being shortlisted for this award is wonderful recognition for our team who consistently go above and beyond to deliver exceptional work for our clients. The client asked for ‘something that’s not been done before’ – we’re pleased that the judges agree with our client that we met that brief.”

Winners will be announced at the Event Technology Awards ceremony and gala dinner – taking place on the first evening of Event Tech Live – Wednesday 6th November 2019 at Troxy, London.
