Another busy week for our teams in both Salt Lake City and Liverpool. We chatted with our newest addition, Laduma President, Dan Rustein. We asked Dan what attracted him to joining Laduma and what his hopes are for the future at the company.
We reviewed the second most popular free app on itunes, which uses Apple’s ARkit, IKEA place. Already a year old we wanted to assess why this app has been such a huge success. Although other retailers have since ‘copied’ the concept, IKEA place still leads the way. Proof that early adapters are more likely to be market leaders.
Laduma was delighted to release the 360° film of behind the scenes at A Match for Cancer. Two months after the match, a great deal of money has been raised from the event. We were extremely proud to be part of such a great day. We were proud to also announce that we will be headline sponsor of the James Milner Foundation Charity ball on November 25th. We spoke with our Lead Developer Tommy Pickersgill to find out his thoughts and expectations on the much anticipated VR headset, the Oculus Quest. The new piece of equipment is due to be released in 2019.
On Friday 26th October, we were delighted to continue our work with an extremely valued client, Intermountain Healthcare. We supported their event in Salt Lake City’s Grand America hotel. The conference utilized our CaVRn 360° VR dome to show attendees some of their cutting edge initiatives.
