The award-winning tech consultancy gave visitors to the doTERRA Convention in Utah a unique CGI view of how essential oils work.

Laduma has created a Virtual Reality Experience that illustrates the benefits of one of the world’s leading essential oil brands. The award-winning tech consultancy produced a 360º film for the doTERRA Convention in Utah. It was attended by over 30,000 delegates from across the world.

Laduma filmed 360° scenes as well as CGI to explain how doTERRA uses scientific methods to learn how essential oils benefit the body.

Scientists know there is a chemical basis behind

the benefits of these oils. Yet nobody has understood precisely how these biological changes take place. This video illustrates through the power of virtual reality how these biological changes happen.

The 90-second film – designed for Laduma’s CaVRn VR dome – was seen by thousands of visitors during the event at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City.

Ben Smith, CEO of Laduma, said: “It was fantastic to be in Utah not only to see the culmination of all the hard work that has gone into this project but to get a sense of just how popular CaVRn was among the delegates at the doTERRA convention.

“As a company we live to surprise and delight our clients. We deliver an experience that helps them stand out to their audience.

“Having spoken to some of the senior team at doTERRA, I think we can safely say we did just that. And that gives us a huge amount of satisfaction as a company.”

Laduma’s 23ft CaVRn is the first 360º dome in the world that projects floor-to-ceiling Virtual Reality content.

CaVRn’s unique immersive capability gave doTERRA the opportunity to present a deeply engaging view of the discovery and science behind essential oils.

doTERRA health and exercise scientist, Dr. Damian Rodriguez, said: “With the help of Laduma’s unique technology and video production expertise, we were able to provide our Wellness Advocates with a stunning visual experience.  Elucidating how doTERRA is utilizing cutting-edge research methods to map out the biological pathway of essential oils.”

doTERRA’s global convention is the largest event of its kind in the United States and features presentations from key industry leaders.

CaVRn from Laduma is a world first Virtual Reality experience that gives groups of people an immersive 360° experience without the use of headsets, smartphones or other devices.
