Last week our VP of Strategy Alex Kunawicz and Marketing Communications Manager Kelly Forshaw took a trip to Amsterdam for the Euro Attractions Show (EAS) 2018. EAS 2018 is described as an all-encompassing destination for leisure and attractions industry professionals, including operators, suppliers, manufacturers, investors, developers. Essentially, anyone wishing to engage with the global amusement community.
While there, Alex and Kelly took the opportunity to explore how immersive technologies are being used by attractions around the world.
The attractions using VR varied from multi-sensory experiences, gaming, CGI, animated and filmed 360° content. It was great to see just how varied the experiences were, as well as the volume of experiences that were using Virtual Reality as a big part of their attractions. Back in Liverpool, the team celebrated the National Fitness Day by heading out of the office to a local indoor climbing centre. The team spent the afternoon rock-climbing and had some competitive races against each other. As a company, we often find ways of doing fun things outside of the office together as a team.
