Our favourite brief at Laduma is when a client asks ‘can we do something that has never been done before.’
And particularly when that client is in the healthcare space.
We’ve worked extensively within this fascinating and broad sector. From producing bespoke VR training materials for surgeons, to delivering world-first marketing experiences for leading healthcare providers. I think it’s fair to say, it’s a sector that excites us and for a number of reasons.
Firstly, we feel, that immersive technology can add an incredible amount of value to this field. From training and experiential marketing to rehabilitation and customer care – immersive technology can truly be put to it’s best use and there is huge potential for what can be achieved. And when you work across the full range of immersive technologies – VR, AR and immersive projection – as we do, the opportunities really are endless.
And secondly it gives us great pleasure to showcase the – quite literally- life changing achievements, performed by medical professionals, in a way that does justice to their inspiring work. It’s an important part of our culture at Laduma to try and create positive change through our experiences and technologies and healthcare is a place we are more than happy to contribute.
This week Laduma will be in Orlando, Florida, for HiMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.)
It is the leading health information and technology conference, that sees over 45,000 professionals from more than 90 countries come together to share ideas and best practice with the goal of transforming health through information and technology.
We’re delighted to be working with a leading healthcare company in the US, Intermountain Healthcare, to provide an immersive and interactive experience showcase their services at the conference. We’ll be displaying their innovative services through immersive projection.
With immersive projection, we have the capability not only to project 4K, 2D and 3D imagery onto a variety of surfaces, but also the technology and know how to allow the audience to interact and manipulate their environment. Which is exactly what we’ll be doing at HiMSS.
Our clients guests will walk into an interactive trade show stand like no other – fulfilling their brief of something that’s not been seen before and giving their guests a unique opportunity to be immersed without a headset in sight.
Projection Mapping is a powerful way to transform a space. We’ve previously used this technology to change plain conference rooms into safari landscapes, and help turn a blank wall into a stadium. This technology allows the same space to be given an unlimited amount of new looks. Which can be extremely valuable at trade shows, when companies are limited to a relatively small booth space.
We’re excited to help our client to engage with their customers like never before and give them the opportunity to demonstrate their offering in a way that inspires and excites.
