Laduma is proud to announce that it has been nominated for the prestigious Best Commercial Activation Award by Fanalyse Shortlist, the premier fan business network event in the UK The judging body of the #FAS17 Awards selected the brand’s May 2017 Never More Sure campaign, which was created for Sure the UK’s leading menswear deodorant in partnership with English Premier League football club Everton. The content features incredible 360° views of Everton star Ross Barkley taking a free kick at the club’s training ground. Barkley’s performance was filmed in 360° Virtual Reality, allowing viewers to study his technique from previously unseen angles. The campaign was designed to communicate how the Everton player stays cool and confident under pressure, reflecting two of the core messages of the Sure brand. It is available to be viewed on mobile and desktop in 360 degrees and the experience can be enjoyed to the max using a VR headset.

Laduma is one of five brands nominated for the award. Others include a partnership between Southampton football club and Under Armour, BT Sport and a collaboration between the O2 and AEG. The winner will be selected at the Fanalyse Activation Summit in the impressive main stand at Liverpool FC’s ground Anfield on Thursday 9th of November.
