Here at Laduma, our team has spent the last week or so carrying out charity work, blogging about the potential of Augmented Reality in transport and even explaining where the future of Virtual Reality lies.

So what have been the highlights?

On July 30th, Laduma staff in our Salt Lake City office participated in charity work for the day at Ronald McDonald House Charities in Utah, preparing breakfast for families and children who are being supported by the charity.

Charities like Ronald McDonald House do incredible work for those people who need extra support at a difficult time and for us as a company, it is important to give back to the communities that we’re a part of by giving up our time to participate in charity work.

The next day, our blogging team shone a light on how Augmented Reality could start to make it easier for drivers to navigate tricky junctions, find faster routes and of course, make journeys much safer.

We even looked at how traffic wardens could soon be using AR to catch out drivers who flout parking regulations. Yeah, even them…

On August 1st, our team in the United States faced the cameras to discuss how VR can keep up with developments in image quality, headset changes and even 360° domes – like our very own CaVRn.

Want to find out how we’ll be using VR to transport ourselves to a different social environment with friends and colleagues? Or even the potential for VR images to be send directly to users’ eyes? It’s all here.

And of course, we’ve been in Ireland with BOSS Night, soaking up the post LFC v Napoli friendly atmosphere with live music, signed giveaways and good times. We’re definitely ready for the new Premier League season to start!
