Ronald McDonald House Charities

Spirit of Children Gala

Challenge

Support the vital fundraising work of Ronald McDonald House Charities at the Spirit of Children Gala by creating a stunning showcase of Morocco and the impact that RMHC has on families.

Solution

Laduma’s groundbreaking 360° VR dome, CaVRn, was used to create an immersive ‘Taste of Morocco’ experience that would take guests on a journey across Morocco. CaVRn’s unique short-throw projection capabilities ensured an incredible all-round perspective of Morocco. Laduma also donated an auction prize of two VIP tickets to a Liverpool F.C. soccer game at Anfield in the UK, including all flights and accommodation.

Results

With over 1,000 guests attending the fundraising gala, Laduma was a key component in creating a Moroccan theme for the evening. Guests interacted with CaVRn and saw how true 360° VR can deliver game-changing results. The auction of VIP tickets was a highlight of the evening and bidding went down to the final wire!

Overall, the Spirit of Children gala raised $1 Million dollars for Ronald McDonald House Charities, which will go towards supporting the families of sick and injured children in the Intermountain Area. CaVRn was a highlight of the event and hundreds of people experienced Laduma’s groundbreaking 360° capabilities.
