Nambiti Plains

Explore Africa

Challenge

Use 360° Virtual Reality content toshow the world the unspoilt beauty, majestic wildlife and pure luxury that makes up a stay at the incredible Nambiti Plains Safari resort in South Africa.

Solution

Laduma created a bespoke Virtual Reality app with immersive 360° content that presented facilities at the resort hotel and showed guests what they could expect when they arrived. Of course, the experience also brought users up close with the ‘Big Five’ animals that roam the surrounding area.

Result

Our crews spent a week in beautiful South Africa to capture the content needed to make this project come to life. They started work early each morning with the rangers to get close to lions, cheetahs, elephants (which would drink from the hotel pool) and many more. We also worked closely with the team at the hotel to ensure we captured the luxury of the rooms and communal areas, as well as the stunning surroundings.

The launch of the content received wide praise across the travel sector, with Nambiti themselves delighted with the final results and now able to show their facilities off at travel events all around the world.
