Bringing Florida To The UK

Challenge

Use immersive 360° Virtual Reality to help Jackonsville Jaguars’ UK and international supporters feel closer to the team they love from afar, and to build engagement and loyalty by creating a uniquely immersive – and engaging – VR experience.

Solution

We created a VR film that took fans from around the world behind the scenes and under the ropes at Jacksonville’s opening match of the NFL season in Florida and show it to the club’s supporters at a huge NFL street party in London.

Results

Our production team filmed in the heat and humidity of Florida in August, got up close, under the skin and accessed all areas to create a stunning piece of VR content at the home of the Jaguars – Everbank Field. We followed the players out of the locker room, captured the fans watching from the incredible cabanas and got among the cheerleaders to create a film that captured the essence of game-day in the NFL. Our activation team then travelled to the NFL Street Party in Regent Street, London and showed this piece of content to thousands of fans of all ages. The reactions were fantastic.

More than 3,500 fans lined up in the London rain to watch the Jaguars Virtual Reality experience over a period of just four hours. The demand was incredible and the approval ratings from supporters who had watched the content was remarkable. They just wanted more.
