And the youngsters left with armfuls of presents after Laduma also donated signed LFC shirts, Lego sets, footballs, Nerf guns and other gifts.

An Hour for Others works with youngsters and families across Merseyside, creating a support network of local people to help residents in need.

Ben Smith, CEO of Laduma, said: “An Hour for Others does fantastic work in the city and we were delighted to help out in any way we could.

“We have been helping to plan this event for some time, so some of the young people could watch the game from Laduma’s executive box at Anfield.

“But we knew that adding a few little surprises, like the presents, would really top the night off. It was lovely to see everyone have a great time.”

An Hour for Others is a network for good-hearted people in Liverpool to use their skills, time and donations to help the lives of other good-hearted people in need.
